At Basin Solutions, we build teams that actually work together and we help companies create safer, stronger operations. We are looking for an HSE Specialist who cares about people first and understands the balance between practical field work and smart, compliant systems.

You will work alongside a team that spends their weekdays supporting clients and their weekends outside on a mountain bike, hiking trail or with a fly rod in hand. Our culture is built around strong relationships, integrity and being part of the communities we serve.

• Support the development and implementation of safety programs across a mix of O and G, renewables, construction and industrial clients
• Manage COR and SECOR programs and help clients stay aligned with regulatory requirements
• Lead incident investigations and support corrective action planning
• Build and maintain ISNetworld, Avetta and ComplyWorks accounts
• Conduct field level assessments, onsite orientations and toolbox talks
• Partner closely with operations, management and workers to build a strong safety culture
• Bring a calm and organized presence to busy environments with lots of moving parts

• 3 to 7 years of HSE experience in O and G, renewables, industrial or construction settings
• Strong understanding of Alberta and federal safety legislation
• Comfortable working in the field and in front of clients
• Confident communicator who can build trust quickly
• Someone who genuinely cares about getting workers home safe every single day
• A team player who enjoys the outdoors and fits into a culture built around authenticity and hard work
