Key Responsibilities
  • Manage a portfolio of commercial accounts, ensuring exceptional client service and retention.
  • Act as the primary point of contact for clients, handling inquiries, policy changes, renewals, and risk management advice.
  • Prepare and process submissions, applications, proposals, cover notes, certificates, and invoices.
  • Collaborate with Producers to develop client strategies, address emerging issues, and create comprehensive insurance solutions.
  • Review policy documents for accuracy before delivery to clients.
  • Conduct coverage and risk analysis to ensure clients are properly protected.
  • Market new and renewal business, negotiating with underwriters to secure the best terms.
  • Maintain accurate documentation and workflows in Epic.
  • Support other Account Managers as needed and contribute to team success.
  • Participate in cross-selling initiatives and client engagement campaigns.
  • Stay current with product knowledge and evolving market trends.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with insurer partners and clients.
  • Pursue ongoing professional development and industry education.

Qualifications
  • Active RIBO license in good standing (required).
  • 5+ years of commercial insurance experience.
  • Working toward or completion of CIP and/or CAIB designation.
  • Strong communication, organizational, and client relationship management skills.
  • Detail-oriented with the ability to manage multiple priorities.
  • Proficiency in Epic, Microsoft Outlook, Excel, and Word.
