Civil CAD Technician

The Opportunity
We are seeking a detail-oriented and motivated Civil CAD Technician to join our growing Civil Engineering team. The successful candidate will support the design and delivery of infrastructure projects across a range of sectors, including land development, transportation, and municipal engineering.
Key Responsibilities
- Prepare and revise civil engineering drawings using AutoCAD Civil 3D and related design software.
- Develop site grading plans, servicing layouts, road profiles, and utility designs under the direction of project engineers and technologists.
- Assist in the preparation of construction documents, quantity take-offs, and as-built drawings.
- Collaborate closely with project managers, engineers, and other team members to ensure design accuracy and project coordination.
- Maintain drawing standards and file management within Ecora's QA/QC processes.

Qualifications
- All other duties as required.
- Diploma in Civil Engineering Technology or related discipline.
- 2+ years of relevant experience in a civil design or drafting environment.
- Proficiency in AutoCAD Civil 3D; experience with Revit or GIS software considered an asset.
- Strong understanding of municipal infrastructure design standards and drafting practices.
- Excellent attention to detail, organization, and communication skills.
- Eligibility for registration as an AScT or C.Tech with ASTTBC (or equivalent) is an asset.
