About the Role:We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Junior Admin to support the Cleaning Operations Manager in daily operational activities. This position plays a vital role in maintaining the smooth operation of cleaning services across multiple client sites within the GTA.
The ideal candidate is organized, professional, and thrives in a fast-paced environment. You'll be the bridge between management and cleaning staff, ensuring seamless communication, efficient scheduling, and exceptional service delivery.
Pay Rate: $19.00-$21.00 per hour
Schedule: Monday-Friday 9:00am-5:00pm
Location: Oshawa, ON (In Office)On-Call Requirement: Every second week and weekend, the Operations Assistant will be on-call (paid) and available by phone or text to assist cleaning staff as needed.
Key Responsibilities:
  • Assist the Operations Manager with day-to-day coordination of cleaning operations.
  • Ensure all staff are on-site for their designated shifts and provide coverage for call-ins or vacation time.
  • Support the onboarding and startup of new client accounts to ensure smooth transitions.
  • Distribute inspection reports to cleaners and clients, ensuring timely follow-up on action items.
  • Communicate regularly with cleaning staff regarding schedules, performance feedback, and operational updates.
  • Follow up on site issues, ensuring they are resolved promptly and communicated effectively.
  • Maintain accurate documentation and records in company systems.
  • Support general administrative tasks related to operations and service delivery.

Qualifications:
  • Previous experience in an administrative, scheduling, or operations support role (cleaning/janitorial industry experience is an asset).
  • Strong organizational and multitasking skills with attention to detail.
  • Excellent communication skills and professional demeanor.
  • Proficient with Microsoft 365 (Outlook, Excel, Teams, Word, SharePoint).
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team environment.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and adaptability in a dynamic setting.
  • Reliable, punctual, and dedicated to maintaining operational excellence.
