Lab - MLT or CLXT

Medical Laboratory Technologist (MLT)
Responsibilities:

• Perform routine and complex lab tests using manual and automated methods
• Collect/receive specimens, enter data into the Laboratory Information System (LIS)
• Validate/report test results, prepare solutions and control agents
• Maintain instruments and assist with ECG testing; involved in phlebotomy and bone marrow collection (processing elsewhere)
• Participate in day/evening shifts and on-call rotations

Qualifications:

• Certified Medical Laboratory Technologist (CSMLS)
• Reliable, flexible, and motivated with experience or practicum in MLT

Combined Laboratory & X-Ray Technologist (CLXT)

Responsibilities:

• Perform routine laboratory, X-ray, and ECG procedures
• Conduct routine and preventative equipment maintenance and troubleshooting
• Rotate shifts across two rural facilities and participate in on-call schedules and weekend coverage

Qualifications:

• Graduate of an accredited Combined Lab/X-ray Technician program
• Eligible for provincial licensing
• Minimum one year of general experience in lab and diagnostic imaging (or equivalent)
