THE ROLE
On behalf of our client, we are looking for an Injection Moulding Process Technician, you will be responsible for the safe and efficient setup and operation of injection molds and injection molding machines. In this role, the Injection molding process Technician is responsible for optimizing and troubleshooting injection molding processes with respect to quality and productivity. This includes verifying the accuracy of the manufactured components against the engineering drawings by measuring dimensions on first-off samples using precision measuring equipment and standard tests, as well as identifying areas of improvement to increase the productivity of the mould.

RESPONSIBILITIES
- Proficiently start up, shutdown, setup and troubleshoot injection molding, thermoforming and injection blow moulding machines
- Optimize process to increase efficiency, product quality and reduce waste
- Communicate with prior and oncoming shifts about work assignments and production expectations
- Review production processes and maintain required documentation
- Perform all job functions abiding by all Health and Safety rules and regulations (HACCP & SQF)
- Maintain a clean and safe work environment using 5S principles
- Provide technical support to the Machine Operators
REQUIREMENTS
- Experience with mounting/dismounting molds in Injection Moulding Machines and start-up/shut down procedures
- Strong mechanical knowledge of injection moulding, thermoforming or injection blow moulding machines and - processes
- Willingness and ability to repair, set-up, start-up, troubleshoot and shut down machines if needed

- Experience in a manufacturing environment is a must
