(Temporary) Class 1 Truck Driver - 2227

A leading North American distribution company based in Edmonton, AB, is looking for a Full-Time and temporary (2-3 weeks) Class 1 Truck Driver to start immediately.

Shift: Mon–Fri, start between 4–7 AM

Pay rate: $30-$32/hr (based on experience)

The start date is on November 20

• 2-3 weeks assignment

Responsibilities:

• Operate a tractor-trailer, straight truck.
• Operate a forklift and/or Moffett when required.
• Participate in ongoing training and development, including forklift certification.
• Comply with all legislation related to safety operations, carriage of goods, driver's hours, and traffic laws.
• Perform pre- and post-trip inspections to ensure mechanical and safety standards are met.
• Maintain accurate daily logs and compliance reports (driver logs, inspection, maintenance, and incident reports).
• Secure all truck and trailer loads safely and correctly.
• Load and unload premium-quality wood products safely (up to 75 lbs)
• Provide an excellent customer experience through professionalism and reliability.
• Perform additional duties as assigned.

What you bring:

• A valid Commercial Driver's license.
• Minimum 3 years Class 1 licensed and on the road.
• Clear Abstract report.
• Flexibility to start between the hours of 4:00 am and 7:00 am.
• A positive and growth mindset.
