Description

Our client is seeking a dynamic District Sales Manager to lead sales growth, enhance profitability, and strengthen relationships with customers, suppliers, and internal teams. This role is ideal for a strategic, people-oriented leader who excels at driving results through collaboration and innovation.

Responsibilities:

  • Identify, prioritize, and capitalize on key market opportunities by leveraging data-driven insights to develop and implement effective sales strategies.

  • Inspire, coach, and guide the sales team to achieve profitable growth and expand market share.

  • Build and maintain long-term relationships with customers and prospects to enhance loyalty and drive business expansion.

  • Develop persuasive sales presentations and competitive quotations that align with customer needs while differentiating the company in the marketplace.

  • Recruit, train, and mentor a high-performing sales team, establishing clear goals and providing consistent coaching, feedback, and support.

  • Monitor and analyze sales performance to ensure alignment with regional growth and profitability objectives.

  • Participate in budgeting and forecasting processes, manage expenses effectively, and optimize resource allocation to deliver strong sales and margin results.

Qualifications:

  • Minimum 10 years of experience in sales, business development, or account management, including at least 5 years in a leadership capacity.

  • Experience in wholesale distribution preferred—particularly within the plumbing or HVAC sectors.

  • Proven success in driving revenue growth and consistently exceeding sales targets.

  • Demonstrated ability to recruit, develop, and lead top-performing sales teams.

  • Exceptional relationship-building skills with customers, suppliers, and internal stakeholders.

  • Strategic thinker with strong financial acumen and expertise in budgeting, forecasting, and data-informed decision-making.

  • Adaptable, solutions-oriented leader who thrives in a fast-paced, results-driven environment.
