Forklift Operator

Position: Counterbalance Forklift Operator
Location: Clair Rd. West, Guelph N1L 1G5
Shift: Monday to Friday, 3:00 PM – 11:30 PM (must be available for weekends when needed)
Start Date: As soon as available
Pay Rate: $20.00 per hour

About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Counterbalance Forklift Operator to join our team in Guelph. This is a full-time, long-term position with steady hours and potential for growth within the company. The successful candidate will have hands-on experience in shipping, receiving, staging, and trailer loading/unloading within a warehouse environment.
Please note: this position involves working with alcoholic products at times.

Requirements

• Valid 3rd-party forklift license (in-house certificates will not be accepted)
• Minimum 1 year of counterbalance forklift experience
• Experience loading/unloading trailers, order picking, shipping/receiving, and staging
• Must have prior experience in a warehouse environment (not production or construction only)
• Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced, busy setting
• Comfortable handling and moving alcoholic products
• Strong communication skills and adaptability to changing priorities
• Must be available for full-time work (not accepting student applications)
• Reliable, safety-minded, and detail-oriented

Key Responsibilities

• Safely and efficiently operate a counterbalance forklift
• Load and unload trailers, stage materials, and prepare orders for shipment
• Handle, move, and store alcoholic products as required
• Support receiving and shipping operations, ensuring accuracy and organization
• Communicate clearly with supervisors and team members to maintain workflow
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment
• Follow all company safety and operational procedures
