We are seeking a sales-driven, highly motivated, and detail-oriented Wholesale Account Manager to join our growing team. This role is vital in driving departmental growth by building strong partnerships with new and existing premium retailers. This position manages direct wholesale accounts in Australia and supports sales growth across North American territories through sales rep training and tradeshow attendance.

You will play a key role in supporting the brand's growth by delivering exceptional service to our wholesale partners while ensuring our mission-driven brand is represented with excellence.

This is a hybrid role based out of our Toronto office, offering a balance of in-office collaboration and remote flexibility. Monthly travel across North America is required and a key priority for this position. The role reports directly to the Vice President of Sales.

Key Responsibilities

Sales & Account Management: Australia

  • Manage sales across Australia, with ownership of annual revenue targets and account growth.

  • Provide ongoing support to existing accounts while driving increased assortments, reorder rates, and seasonal sell-through.

  • Open new accounts through inbound leads, prospecting, industry networking, and research to identify premium, ethically minded retailers.

  • Build and maintain long-term relationships with retail partners, ensuring brand alignment and mutual success.

  • Monitor sales performance and inventory demand, providing actionable insights and monthly reporting.

Sales Rep Support: North America

  • Attend 5+ tradeshows annually to increase sales, open new accounts, and strengthen relationships with existing partners.

  • Travel monthly across North America for rep training, in-person ride-alongs, and appointment shadowing while providing performance coaching to improve sales and rep development.

  • Lead and maintain onboarding and set up processes for rep agencies including item set up, promotions, digital assets, platform updates, and integrations.

  • Maintain consistent communication with sales reps and showrooms providing sales materials, samples, marketing calendar updates, catalogs, product knowledge, and launch details.

  • Generate and present monthly reporting including prospecting list, monthly sales rep performance metrics, and territory KPIs.

Department Support

  • Deliver exceptional customer service to wholesale partners, ensuring timely responses and effective resolutions.

  • Collaborate cross-functionally with marketing, operations, and customer service to execute strategic sales plans, product launches, and marketing initiatives to exceed territory goals.

  • Oversee all aspects of sales and marketing on the Faire platform including order and invoice processing, product and collection listings, email campaigns and flows, and maintain top shop status.

  • Analyze Faire performance metrics (conversion, reorder rates, AOV, etc.) and leverage data to drive growth.

  • Contribute to department process improvements and provide recommendations to improve and enhance efficiency and overall partner experience.


Performance Metrics Success in this role will be measured by:

  • Year-over-year sales growth and new account acquisition.

  • Account reorder rate and customer retention across assigned territories.

  • Faire channel performance (conversion rate, order volume, and annual revenue).

  • Quality of sales rep engagement, training participation, and sales performance improvements.

  • Timeliness and quality of customer communication and service.


Qualifications

  • 3–5 years of experience in wholesale account management and sales, ideally in consumer goods, home, gift, or lifestyle brands.

  • Proven success in growing territories, opening new accounts, and exceeding sales targets.

  • Ability to travel monthly within the US and Canada for tradeshows, sales rep training, and account visits.

  • Strong proficiency in Excel, CRM systems, and sales analytics tools.

  • Experience with Shopify, MarketTime, ERP platforms, Faire, and EDI systems preferred.

  • Excellent communication, organization, and presentation skills.

  • Self-motivated, proactive, and passionate about sales, relationships, and results.

  • Deep alignment with brand's mission and values of kindness.
