We are a fast-growing Managed Services Provider (MSP) delivering IT support, cybersecurity, cloud services, and technology solutions to businesses across various industries. Were looking for an Account Manager who is early in their IT sales/account management career and eager to grow in a dynamic, client-focused environment.

About the Role

As an Account Manager, you will support client relationships, assist with sales activities, and help coordinate service delivery. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys working with people, has an interest in technology, and wants to develop into a more senior account or sales position over time.

What Youll Do

Client Relationship Support

  • Act as a friendly, responsive point of contact for assigned clients.
  • Build strong rapport and understand client challenges at a high level.
  • Assist senior staff with QBRs, renewal meetings, and service review sessions.

Sales & Growth Responsibilities

  • Identify opportunities for additional services such as cybersecurity, hardware refreshes, licensing upgrades, and project work.
  • Prepare quotes, proposals, and renewal documentation.
  • Maintain accurate updates in CRM/PSA systems and track client follow-ups.
  • Participate in outbound or follow-up campaigns with sales/marketing teams.

Service Coordination

  • Coordinate between clients and internal technical teams to ensure timely service delivery.
  • Track recurring issues, escalate concerns when needed, and ensure client expectations are met.
  • Assist with reviewing licensing counts, renewals, and service updates.

Reporting & Administrative Tasks

  • Prepare ticket summaries, asset lists, status updates, and other basic reports.
  • Maintain organized and accurate client information in PSA/CRM tools.
  • Support billing reviews to ensure accuracy across recurring services and subscriptions.

What You Bring

Required

  • 13 years of experience in account management, customer service, or sales (IT experience preferred but not required).
  • Strong communication and relationship-building skills.
  • Organized, detail-oriented, and comfortable handling multiple priorities.
  • Interest in IT, cloud services, and cybersecurity.

Nice to Have

  • Experience with MSP tools (ConnectWise, Autotask, etc.).
  • Basic understanding of Microsoft 365, networking, and general IT concepts.
  • Experience preparing quotes through tools like QuoteWerks or ConnectWise Sell.
