Senior Accountant - 3 Month Contract

Leading Distributor of Industrial and construction products, our client is looking for a strong Senior Accountant on a 3-month contract with long term potential.

Reporting to the Accounting Manager, the Senior Accountant is responsible for overseeing a wide range of corporate accounting functions, including month-end close, consolidation, and both internal and external financial reporting. This role ensures the accuracy and integrity of the general ledger in accordance with GAAP, performs detailed analytical reviews, and maintains strong business process controls.

The primary responsibilities include:

• Daily and monthly cash reconciliations
• Balance sheet account review and reconciliation
• Assist with external audit requests
• Variance and cost accounting analysis

• CPA Designation or near completion
• Distribution or Manufacturing experience
• Advanced Excel Skills
• JD Edwards
• Strong communication skills to work across all areas of the organization
