Mechanical Piping Designer

Our client, a leader in the wastewater treatment field, is looking for a mechanical piping designer to join their team on a long term basis.

Job Summary

Has in-depth knowledge in 3D system or Balance of Plant (BOP) design and can generate designs of complex equipment and produce 3D models with minimal

guidance. They work in a multi-discipline project team to generate 3D CAD project documentation for water and wastewater treatment systems including

general arrangements, skid or module assemblies, fabrication details, piping layouts, piping isometrics and bills of materials.

· Ability to work independently with minimal guidance

MUST HAVE:

• Proficiency in SOLIDWORKS (3 or more years)
• Experience in piping and equipment design (pumps, tanks, valves)
• Experience with piping isometrics, GA, BOM, pipe routing
• Experience working with steel

Job Type & Location

This is a Contract position based out of Oakville, ON.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $40.00 - $50.00/hr.

Workplace Type

This is a fully onsite position in Oakville,ON.
