About Our Company

Welcome to Low Tide Properties. We are a Vancouver-based privately held real estate investment, development, and management company. We own and manage over 60 properties in Strathcona, Gastown, Great Northern Way, Mount Pleasant and Kits.

About the Role & the Department

We are looking for a Marketing and Events Intern to assist our Tenant & Community Relations Team. This team works closely with all departments, our tenants, and our communities.

Our Tenant & Community Relations Team is looking for an intern to help:

• Plan social media content, in line with the Low Tide Social Media Strategy
  o Attend social media content meetings, coordinate and attend photoshoots with our team, tenants, and in the community
• Support with Corporate Marketing projects. Projects include brand guideline and website development.
• Support the planning of team, tenant and community events
  o Participate in planning meetings, coordinate with vendors, draft communication to tenants and community stakeholders, attend events and support with execution
  o Assist in running event marketing programming including branding development, public
  relations support, influencer outreach, website creation, etc.
• Other responsibilities as instructed by the Tenant and Community Team

Education & Experience

• Currently working towards a degree/diploma, focused in business/commerce/real estate/marketing
• Experience in social media content an asset (Instagram, LinkedIn)
• Confident in using Canva and Adobe programs for graphic design
• Ability to prioritize tasks and work under tight deadlines
• Event coordination experience
• Strong attention to detail and willingness to learn
• Advanced oral and written communication skills
• Advanced skills in Microsoft Word and Excel
• Excellent interpersonal skills

Salary: $24 per/hour
