Custodian

Selkirk Chrysler is looking to add a dependable and detail-oriented Custodian to our team. This position plays an important role in maintaining a clean, safe, and welcoming environment for both our employees and customers. Primary Responsibilities

• Maintain overall cleanliness of the facility, including shop areas, offices, customer spaces, and washrooms
• Wash windows, interior walls, and ledges
• Empty garbage and recycling containers
• Sweep, mop, scrub, and wax floors, stairs, and operate floor scrubber equipment
• Clean and disinfect washrooms and fixtures
• Wipe and clean furniture, desks, and chairs
• Perform seasonal or deep-cleaning tasks as required
• Other duties as assigned

Qualifications

• Previous cleaning or custodial experience preferred
• Knowledge of standard cleaning procedures, products, and equipment
• Ability to work independently and efficiently with minimal supervision
• Strong attention to detail
• Able to follow written and verbal instructions
• Must be available to work Saturdays
• Must be physically capable of performing the duties of the job, including standing, walking, bending, twisting, and reaching for prolonged periods
• Must be able to lift up to 30 lbs
