The Opportunity

Leavitt Machinery is looking for a Parts Warehouse Person to join our team in Prince George, British Columbia. As the Parts Warehouse Person, you will be responsible for accurately processing all incoming goods and outgoing orders in a timely manner as well as ensuring all goods are neatly and properly stored.

Essential Duties & Responsibilities

As the Parts Warehouse Person your key responsibilities will include:

  • Ship and receive goods to and from internal and external shipping places of origin
  • Maintain parts inventory and organization
  • Receive, fill, and process work orders
  • Review and investigate outstanding purchase orders
  • Prepare and track freight claims, and initiate vendor claims
  • Conduct general warehousing duties, such as stocking shelves and filling customer orders
  • Adhere to the Leavitt Safety Program and complete all necessary safety paperwork
  • Participate in inventory counts

Required Skills & Qualifications

The ideal candidate will possess the following skills, knowledge, and competencies:

  • Previous work experience in a warehouse environment, or working with parts, is preferred
  • Forklift certification (Counterbalanced [Class 1, 4, and 5] Lift-truck Operator Certification) is an asset but not required
  • Basic computer skills, including using Outlook and ERP systems
  • Comfortable working to externally imposed deadlines
  • High school diploma, or equivalent, is required

The base pay for this role is: $32.67 per hour.
