Elite Hire Pro - 7 Jobs
Calgary, AB
Job Details:
This is not just a "prompt engineer" or "video editor" role. We are looking for a true "unicorn"—a hybrid creative, strategist, and technologist who can take a client's business goal from a brief to a fully-realized, AI-powered creative campaign.
You will be the agency's internal champion and expert on all things generative AI. You will be responsible for the entire creative lifecycle: from brainstorming how AI can solve a client's problem to generating the core video and photo assets, and finally, polishing those assets into client-ready deliverables.
The ideal candidate is a "T-shaped" creative: someone with a deep spike in either marketing strategy or video/design post-production, combined with a passionate, provable fluency in modern AI tools.
Key Responsibilities
- Ideation & Strategy: Translate marketing briefs and campaign concepts into actionable, AI-driven creative strategies for video and photo assets. You'll be the one in the room who says, "I know how we can make that happen."
- Asset Generation: Act as the lead "AI artist," using a wide variety of AI models (e.g., Midjourney, DALL-E, Pika, Gen-2, etc.) to generate high-quality, on-brand visual content. This includes expert-level prompt-crafting, parameter-tweaking, and iteration.
- Post-Production & Polish: Take raw AI outputs and transform them into polished, professional assets. This requires deep experience in the Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Premiere, After Effects) or equivalent to composite images, color-grade video, add text/graphics, and fix inevitable AI artifacts.
- Creative & Art Direction: Ensure all visual output maintains a high standard of creative excellence. You will be the guardian of taste, directing the style, lighting, mood, and storytelling of our AI-generated content to ensure it is always on-brand.
- Cross-Functional Collaboration: Serve as the primary creative bridge between our account, strategy, and copy teams. You must be able to understand a client brief, collaborate with a copywriter, and confidently present and defend your creative choices.
- Research & Development (R&D): Be our eyes and ears on the future. A core part of your job is to continuously research, test, and demonstrate new AI tools, platforms, and techniques to keep our agency and our clients ahead of the curve.
- Ethical Governance: Develop and maintain our internal best practices for AI content creation. You will be our expert on the current legal, ethical, and copyright standards, ensuring our work is always safe, compliant, and transparent.
Required Skills & Qualifications
- Proven Marketing Acumen: You must understand the "why." You have experience in a marketing, advertising, or brand environment and can connect creative work directly to business objectives, target audiences, and brand voice.
- Expert Post-Production Skills: You are a master of the tools. You have professional-level fluency in Adobe Photoshop, Premiere Pro, and After Effects (or a comparable stack like DaVinci Resolve & Fusion).
- Demonstrable AI Fluency: You must have a deep and passionate understanding of the current generative AI landscape. This is not something you just "dabbled in"; you actively use these tools and understand their strengths and weaknesses.
- A Stunning Portfolio: A portfolio is mandatory for consideration.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience in a fast-paced agency environment.
- A strong "creative eye" and a background in art direction, design, or cinematography.
- Excellent communication skills—you can articulate complex technical or creative ideas to non-technical stakeholders.
- A voracious, self-motivated learner who can prove they stay on top of new tools.
- A clear understanding of the current ethical and copyright discussions surrounding generative AI.
How to Apply
Please submit your resume and a cover letter explaining why you are the perfect fit for this role.
Your portfolio submission is the most critical part of your application. We are not looking for a gallery of final images. We want to see your process. Your portfolio must include case studies or examples that show:
The initial concept or brief.
The raw, unedited AI-generated outputs.
The final, polished asset.
A brief "Process Journal" (written or a short video) explaining why you chose your tools, what your prompt strategy was, and how you edited the raw output to get to the final result.
