Are you passionate about empowering youth and building stronger communities? The Carlington Youth Program is seeking a dedicated After School Worker (SWAG - Students Will All Graduate) to join our team and make a difference for youth from vulnerable communities. Our program focuses on fostering self-development, community involvement, and academic success.
Under the supervision of the Child and Youth Program Coordinator and the Healthy Growth and Development Director, the ASW (SWAG) will plan the program and ensure all activity components are incorporated, from academic assistance, life skill development and health food choices/nutrition.
As an ASW, you must maintain effective communication of information among volunteers, mentors, tutors, teachers and other providers of services to students grade 9-10 enrolled in the SWAG program. Having the ability to establish appropriate relationships with youth, and with professionals within a multi-disciplinary team is key.

Ultimately, you must be able to ensure our services are effective and valuable through planning, developing, assessing and delivering quality programming that support and meet youth development needs.
