As we continue to grow, we are seeking a high-performing, strategic, and people-driven Branch Manager to elevate our operations in Antigonish, New Glasgow, and Truro.
Position Overview
This is a senior regional leadership role. We are looking for a quick-thinking, high-energy, motivational leader who knows how to guide teams, solve problems, grow a business, and bring out the best in people. The ideal candidate is a big playersomeone with documented experience driving expansion, improving operations, and adding measurable value.
You will oversee all Northern Operations, build a strong workplace culture, strengthen community partnerships, and ensure exceptional care delivery across all three branches. This role reports directly to the Regional Director.
Key ResponsibilitiesLeadership and Team Development
Inspire and motivate a multi-branch team with energy, positivity, and decisiveness.
Build a high-performance culture where staff feel supported, coached, and empowered.
Lead recruitment, onboarding, training, and performance management across Antigonish, New Glasgow, and Truro.
Maintain clear communication and support collaboration across the region.
Set the tone for professionalism, accountability, and client-first service.
Operational Management
Oversee daily operations across all three branches.
Direct scheduling, client intake, caseload planning, and resource allocation.
Ensure full compliance with company standards and provincial regulations.
Monitor KPIs to measure service quality, productivity, retention, and client satisfaction.
Support the on-call rotation and provide leadership for escalated situations.
Growth and Community Engagement
Develop and execute regional strategies that increase client acquisition and revenue.
Build strong relationships with referral partners, healthcare providers, and community organizations.
Identify market trends and new opportunities for service expansion.
Bring proven experience in scaling operations or growing service-based businesses.
Financial Leadership
Oversee regional budgets, staffing models, billing, and payroll.
Monitor financial performance and implement strategies to meet targets.
Provide clear, data-driven reporting to senior leadership.
Compliance and Quality Assurance
Ensure full compliance with all licensing, regulatory, and home care standards.
Implement quality assurance programs and drive continuous improvement.
Act as the primary escalation point for complex client or staff issues.
Cross-Functional Collaboration
Work closely with the Regional Director and other leaders to align strategies and processes.
Support care planning and scheduling oversight to ensure exceptional client service.
Provide decisive leadership during complex operational issues.

Bachelor's degree in Healthcare Administration, Business Management, or a related field, or equivalent combination of education and proven leadership experience (required)
Minimum 5 years of leadership or multi-site management experience (required)

Strong understanding of Nova Scotia home care or healthcare systems
Excellent communication, team-building, and conflict resolution skills
Strong operational, analytical, and decision-making abilities
Comfort with healthcare and scheduling technology platforms

Schedule and Work Location
Full-time, Monday to Friday
Weekend availability as needed for on-call leadership
Role can be based out of either the New Glasgow office or the Truro office
Regular in-person presence required across Antigonish, New Glasgow, and Truro
