This position exists to ensure the safe, timely and efficient delivery of quality roof and floor truss products that meet or exceed customer standards.
Work Environment:
This is a team-oriented environment, the employee must work with and cooperate with others in a positive and effective manner. While performing the duties of this job, the employee is occasionally exposed to moving mechanical parts, equipment and mobile equipment as well as moving products. The noise level in the work environment is usually mild to moderate. Temperatures fluctuate depending on the time of year as the work area is either outdoors or in the vehicle. While outdoors you will be exposed to slippery, hot, and cold climates. Products are primarily constructed with wood and metal which can subject employees to slivers and cuts. Normal work days consist of 8 – 10 hour days, Monday to Friday. However, it is sometimes necessary to start early, end late or work the odd weekend depending on delivery location, and quantity of deliveries.
Starting Wage:
$22.00-$25.00 (Class 5) or $24.00-$30.00 (Class 1). Eligible for group benefits following a successful 90 day probationary period.
Physical Demands:
Work requires standing, bending, lifting, reaching with arms and use of hands to handle and feel. Will occasionally be required to climb and squat. Must be able to work in and wear CSA approved Safety hard hats, eye wear, footwear, hearing protection, masks as well as safety vests.
General Responsibilities/Requirements:
● Safely deliver floor and roof trusses to various clients.
● Valid license with a clean abstract - class 1, or class 5.
● Perform physically demanding work.
● Proven ability to follow Safety Rules and Regulations and participate in company safety program and initiatives.
● Ability to follow Quality Standards including specific Work Instructions as described in Q.C. manual.
● Proven record of meeting and maintaining time and attendance standards.
● Maintain positive work relationships.
● Ability to read, write and speak English.
● Ability to read the delivery ship list.
● Knowledge of basic engine mechanics.
● Perform daily equipment inspections, maintenance checks and maintain an accurate daily log book.
● Keep the maintenance up to date on the vehicles and keep the vehicles tidy.
● Other duties as assigned.

● Trucks Trailers
● Tie down straps
● Tow Ropes G.P.S. (Global Positioning System)
