Maintenance Technician (Full-time/Contract)

We're looking for a reliable and skilled Maintenance Technician to help keep our facilities running smoothly. In this role, you'll be responsible for performing routine maintenance, repairs, and troubleshooting across a variety of building systems. Schedule

  • Monday to Friday from 6:00 AM to 2:30 PM.
  • Contract until the end of December 2025 with possibility of extension.

Job Description

Reporting directly to the Operations Manager, this individual is responsible for ensuring our parking locations maintain a professional image and are fully operational.

Responsibilities

  • Repair meters, change batteries in meters, change receipt rolls, replace signage
  • Sweeping the garage entrance and exit lanes
  • Litter pick-up on parking levels
  • Wiping down of signage, equipment, and cashier booth
  • Monitoring and cleaning of all high traffic areas within the garage
  • Emptying of garbage receptacles as required
  • Minor snow clearing on levels/ramps and taking care of any icy patches
  • Reporting any observed safety concerns or structural damage, repair fences when needed

Qualifications

  • Good communication skills
  • High degree of attention to detail
  • Experience using basic hand tools & equipment (jigsaw, screwdriver, trimmer, etc.)
  • Excellent time management
  • Ability to work as a team member under minimal supervision
  • Must be able to pass a criminal background check
  • Valid provincial drivers license and clean abstract
