Sunday 8:00 am 4:00 pm
Tuesday 4:00 pm 9:00 pm
Wednesday 4:00 pm 9:00 pm

*May be required to work statutory holidays

About the Role:

As a Residential Care Worker, you will:

• Support individuals in various home settings to promoting independence
• Foster opportunities for learning, self-expression, and community connection
• Assist with personal care, emotional and social support, and medical needs as required
• Advocate for peoples rights, choices, and inclusion in all areas of life
• Follow individualized care plans and help build new routines based on personal preferences

What You Bring:

• Diploma in Human Services, Community Support, or equivalent combination of education and experience
• 2+ years of experience working with people with developmental disabilities and behavior challenges
• Strong understanding of Positive Behaviour Support (PBS)
• Experience with personal care and supporting diverse care needs (an asset)
• Class 5 Drivers License required (Class 4 preferred); personal vehicle required
• Current First Aid/CPR, Mandt, and Food Safe certifications
• Strong communication skills and a passion for building inclusive communities
• Union membership required (BCGEU)
