About the Opportunity

We are a leader in environmental and industrial equipment installation and seeking a Project Coordinator to join our growing Major Projects Division. This role supports the delivery and installation of advanced soil washing and water treatment systems across Canada, combining technical coordination with hands-on field involvement.

The successful candidate will thrive in a dynamic, travel-based role, balancing time between national project sites and our head office in Chilliwack, BC.

Key Responsibilities

  • Coordinate pre-delivery and site preparation activities with clients.
  • Develop, track, and update detailed project schedules to ensure on-time delivery.
  • Supervise on-site contractors during installation, assembly, and commissioning.
  • Maintain accurate project documentation including schedules, reports, and safety records.
  • Communicate with clients, subcontractors, and internal teams (shipping, logistics, service, finance, etc.).
  • Support procurement and shipping coordination for major system components.
  • Identify and resolve scheduling or on-site issues affecting project timelines.
  • Uphold all safety, quality, and compliance standards throughout project execution.

Qualifications & Experience

  • 3–7 years of experience in project coordination, construction, or equipment installation.
  • Post-secondary education in engineering technology, construction management, or project management (or equivalent).
  • Strong organizational, scheduling, and communication skills.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite; familiarity with project management tools (Notion, MS Project, or similar) an asset.
  • Experience managing contractors and coordinating field operations.
  • Valid Class 5 driver's license and valid passport.
  • Willingness to travel extensively across Canada (approximately 50–70%).

Assets

  • Background in mechanical systems or industrial equipment installation.
  • Experience in project supervision or large-scale construction projects.
  • Familiarity with the environmental, recycling, or aggregate industries.
  • Knowledge of cost optimization and vendor performance management.
