We are looking for a Program Supervisor in Edmonton, Alberta, to lead Child and Youth Care Workers (CYCWs) in delivering trauma-informed personalized care to children and youth with complex medical and behavioural needs. In this hands-on leadership role you will work directly with youths with developmental disabilities and complex mental health needs. You will actively support youths, build trusting relationships, and set a gold standard of high quality care for CYCWs.

Your Day to Day
- Manage and mentor CYCWs to deliver exceptional trauma-informed care
- Coordinate work allocation and delegate tasks to ensure fluidity of program maintenance
- Manage team scheduling processes and time-off requests
- Collaborate with your Program Manager to identify and address CYCW training needs
- Ensure program operations and team members comply with organizational policies, procedures, values, and best practices
- Recommend program developments to your Senior Program Supervisor and Management
- Run periodic team meetings to support communication, consistency, and collaboration
- Represent CarePros in the community and when interacting with government agencies, families/caregivers, and funding bodies
- Build and maintain collaborative relationships with community partners, agencies, and organizations
- Ensure required inspections are completed with follow-up action
- Ensure daily services align with contracts, policies, and legislation
- Work directly with children and youth, their families, and care teams
- Liaise with funders and community partners to support service delivery
- Work with Facilities team to ensure program facilities/equipment meet requirements
What You Bring to The Table
- Diploma or Degree in Child and Youth Care, Social Work, Psychology, or related field (required)
- 3+ years verifiable experience providing direct care to children and youth with complex needs in home-based or community support settings (required)
- 2+ years of proven supervisory experience in front-line care
- 2+ years of direct experience working with Children's Services, FSCD, or PDD
- In-depth knowledge of trauma, mental wellness, and home care best practices
- Unmatched verbal and written communication skills
- Superb technology and documentation skills
Compliance Regulated Requirements
- Own a reliable 4-door vehicle to transport youth(s)
- Active Alberta Class 5 Driver's License
- Clear Alberta 10-year Driver's Abstract (10 years driving experience not required)
- Current Standard/Intermediate First Aid with CPR Level C (Canadian Provider in person or blended)
- $2 Million Alberta Auto Insurance Liability coverage
- Clear Criminal Record with Vulnerable Sector Check obtained in last 5 months
- Clear Intervention Record Check obtained in last 5 months
Regulated Physical Requirements
- Walk and stand for extended periods, including long distances
- Bend, kneel, crouch, and maintain balance
- Work in varied environments, including outdoor and seasonal conditions
- Lift, push, or pull up to 10 lbs occasionally; reach overhead and outward
- Perform fine motor tasks (typing, grasping, holding) and repetitive movements
- Communicate verbally and maintain physical stamina for short and long durations
