Welder - Fabricator

Job Summary: We are seeking a skilled Welder/Fabricator to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for fabricating, assembling, and welding metal components based on blueprints, drawings, and specifications. This role requires a strong attention to detail, the ability to read and interpret technical documents, and a commitment to safety and quality workmanship. Key Responsibilities: * Interpret blueprints, technical drawings, and work orders to determine project specifications. * Cut, shape, and weld metal components * Operate fabrication machinery including (shears, press brakes). * Perform layout, fitting, and tacking of metal parts prior to welding. * Inspect completed welds and fabricated parts to ensure structural soundness and adherence to specifications. * Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work area. * Follow all safety procedures and wear appropriate PPE. * Collaborate with team members and supervisors to meet production goals and deadlines. * Troubleshoot and repair welds and fabrication defects as needed. Requirements: * High school diploma or equivalent. * Proven experience as a welder/fabricator in a shop or field setting. * Proficiency in welding processes . * Ability to read blueprints and interpret measurements and tolerances. * Familiarity with metal types (mild steel, stainless steel, aluminum, etc.). * Basic math and measurement skills. * Strong attention to detail and quality control.
