Patient Transfer Driver Position

Our purpose is to provide safe, efficient & caring non-emergency patient transfer & supportive services to Health Authorities and other institutions. At Hospital Transfers, our patient transfer services
support patient flow for healthcare in Canada. Every day, you will help people at their most vulnerable moments.
Our services include: inter-facility and level-of-care relocations, patient discharges into the community, patient appointments and procedures, inter-regional relocations, special moves, and provincial critical incident responses.
What Youll Do
- Safely transfer medically stable patients between hospitals, care facilities, and their residence throughout the Lower Mainland and Fraser Valley.
- Provide a bed-to-bed service by transferring patients in a wheelchair, stretcher or stair chair with a partner.
- Reassure patients and families with a calm, compassionate presence.
- Complete vehicle safety checks and maintain a clean, sanitary environment.
- Serve as a trusted representative of our team to patients, families, Health Authorities and other institutions.

What Youll Need
- Class 4 BC Drivers License, with at least 5 years driving experience.
- Clean Drivers Abstract.
- Valid WorkSafe BC recognized OFA Level 1 (or equivalent Basic First Aid).
- Ability to pass a Criminal Record Check (children and vulnerable adults).
- Vaccinations in accordance with the Immunization Policy for Health Care Workers.
- Proof of the first and second dose of the Covid vaccination (per Company policy).
