Shipper/Receiver

Details ***Note: this position is 50% operating a FL and 50% other duties such has manual picking, clean up, clerical duties *** Candidates need to understand the importance of good Attendance, having a good attitude and working in a Fast Paced environment The Shipping/Receiving safely ships and receives product. The Shipping/Receiving safely stacks and places materials and finished goods in their designated areas. The Shipping/Receiving communicates with the supervisor and the customer service personnel to understand shipping and receiving instructions and to communicate issues. The Shipping/Receiving works to keep warehouse area safe, clean, and clutter free. Essential Functions · Comply with all safety / quality / process instructions; either written or verbal. · Following all safety policies, specifically pertaining to the operation of forklifts to include but not limited to: conducting pre-operational checks at the beginning of each shift, reporting deficiencies in the condition or performance of the forklift(s) to the immediate supervisor, understanding and following load limitations of the forklift(s), understanding and complying with all safety protocols as it pertains to loading and unloading trucks operating the forklift in manner that is safe for pedestrians in the facility. · Through example; demonstrate a commitment to safety culture. · Perform 6S duties. · Maintaining a clean, organized work area that facilitates safe warehousing and loading dock oper Accommodations are available upon request for all individuals with disabilities taking part in the recruitment and selection process.
