This position will report to our Calgary office, but we are open to being remote across Western Canada.
Job Overview

As a Senior Product Manager, you will guide our agency team in developing digital products for our clients. You will ensure seamless collaboration between cross-functional teams working closely with clients, UX researchers, UX designers, creatives, and developers to deliver digital experiences loved by users and clients alike.

Your professional and academic experience has allowed you to balance business goals with user needs, build strong relationships with clients and internal teams, and be comfortable driving complex projects from vision to execution.

- Passionate about product. With 5+ years of experience in product management (ideally in a digital agency or consultancy environment), you champion product best practices, foster continuous learning, and bring a strategic, iterative mindset to your work.
- Youre excited to help grow a discipline.As a senior product manager, you enjoy helping and mentoring less experienced team members on product best practices.
- Youre collaborative. You love leading collaboration with clients, designers, developers, and researchers to share roadmaps and prioritize work.
- Youre data-driven and user-centric. You analyze product metrics and user data to inform decisions, optimize performance, and identify opportunities.
- You communicate effectively. You translate insights, business needs, and technical requirements into actionable plans and backlogs. You also communicate product direction, progress, and impact to internal teams and clients.
- You understand the tech. Youre fluent in digital platforms, web technologies, and product management tools like Jira. Youre comfortable working with APIs and technical teams and understanding integration points and constraints.
- Youre curious about whats next. You stay informed on tools, trends, and emerging use cases in digital product developmentand look for smart ways to apply them.
- Agency experience. Familiarity with client services and digital marketing agencies.
- AI experience. Familiarity with artificial intelligence concepts and tools, with an ability to understand and identify opportunities to integrate AI into digital products.
A day in the life
Working at our agency, youll have the opportunity to support our travel and tourism clients. One day you might define the roadmap for a trip-planning platform powered by generative AI. Another day you might analyze how American and Canadian travellers interact differently with destination marketing websites to personalize their experience. No day is the same.
That said, there are a few activities that will likely take up most of your time. These may include:
- Own the product strategy and roadmap for major initiatives, ensuring internal product owner and client vision and goals align with user needs.
- Drive scoping of features, prioritization, identifying risks, and negotiating trade-offs with competing priorities.
- Work with the team and clients to define KPIs and success metrics.
- You plan and run workshops to align teams and stakeholders on goals, scope, and next steps. You help with agile workflows, including backlog grooming, sprint planning, and feature delivery.
- Work closely with UX designers, developers, creatives, and account and project managers to bring ideas to life and drive measurable results.
- Work with the team and clients on continuous delivery and product improvement.
- Mentor and help other team members while contributing to growing the agencys product management practice.
- Bring forward fresh thinking around product management best practices that create value for the internal team and clients.
