At St. Catharines Building Supplies we strive to provide a professional and pleasant working environment. We are looking for a new part-time team member in our accounting department who is genuine, independent, responsible and cares about the company's future growth. This position would be between 24 to 32 hours per week. Duties: * Verify supplier invoices to receiving reports and purchase orders. Discuss any discrepancies with the Purchaser/Receiver. * Set up Accounts Payable accounts and post invoices to accounts * Prepare payments and ensure all invoices are paid within terms to receive discounts for early or on-time payments. * Posting all transactions to the appropriate General Ledger accounts. * Track all vehicle expenses, gas receipts, and certificate of insurance requests. * Assist Controller with year-end procedures and other duties as requested.
