Accounting Support Specialist

Integrated Staffing is hiring an Accounting Support Specialist on behalf of our client, a leading organization in Scoudouc/Moncton, NB. This contract role (6–9 months) offers hands-on accounting experience, hybrid work options after onboarding, and the chance to contribute to a fast-paced and supportive finance team.
Key Responsibilities

• Prepare, review, and post accurate journal entries to the general ledger in accordance with company policies and GAAP
• Perform monthly account reconciliations and resolve discrepancies promptly
• Assist with CRA audit preparation, including documentation, schedules, and reports
• Conduct ad hoc financial analysis and reporting to support decision-making
• Assist in the preparation of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements
• Identify opportunities to streamline accounting processes and improve efficiency
• Support other accounting tasks, including accounts payable/receivable, budgeting, forecasting, and special projects

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field
• 2+ years of accounting or finance experience, including journal entries and reconciliations
• Familiarity with CRA audits and Canadian tax regulations is an asset
• Proficiency in Syspro ERP is highly desirable
• Strong organizational and time management skills, with attention to detail
• CPA designation is an asset
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

Compensation & Details

• Hours: Monday–Friday, Day Shift
• Pay Rate: TBD
• Duration: 6–9 months contract
• Location: Scoudouc, NB (initially on-site; hybrid option after onboarding)
