Wildwood Outdoor Living is a locally owned garden centre dedicated to helping our community create beautiful, sustainable outdoor spaces. We offer a wide range of plants, landscaping supplies, outdoor furniture, and décor. We're looking for a detail-oriented Bookkeeper/Accounting Assistant to join our team and support our financial operations. Responsibilities * Record daily sales, vendor invoices, and financial transactions * Reconcile bank accounts, credit card statements, and POS reports * Manage accounts payable and receivable * Maintain organized financial records and documentation * Communicate with customers, vendors and internal teams regarding billing and payments Qualifications * 2+ years of bookkeeping experience * Proficiency in accounting software (Sage preferred) * Strong Microsoft Excel skills * Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills * Ability to work independently and collaboratively Preferred Skills * Familiarity with POS systems and inventory management * Experience in seasonal retail operations Work Environment * On-site at our garden centre in Saanich, BC * Reports to: Financial Controller To Apply: Please submit your resume and a brief cover letter outlining your experience, interest in the role and availability.
