Title: Business Analyst
Our government client in Regina, SK is looking for a Business Analyst for a 4 mth contract, with possible extensions.This position can be remote, anywhere in Canada
Things You Need to Have:
The proposed Resource must have the following qualifications/requirements:
• Minimum of eight (8) years experience in a business analyst role.
• Have at least one (1) of the following certifications:
o Certified Business Analysis Professional (CBAP);
o Certified Scrum Product Owner (CSPO); or
o Advanced Certified ScrumMaster (A-CSM®).
• Business analyst experience in a healthcare setting within the past twelve (12) months.
• Have actively participated within the past 12 months in the implementation of either (a) a largescale endpoint detection and response (EDR) project, or (b) a large-scale vulnerability management solution project, involving a minimum of 5,000 protected endpoints.
• Resource must be located in and permitted to work in Canada.
• Possesses the ability to convert business requirements into technical specification for data integration and reports in a highly complex, integrated environment;
• Possesses previous experience eliciting, documenting, and validating requirements documentation;
• Possesses the ability to communicate complex issues in an effective manner to all levels in the organization, such as senior leaders, clinicians, frontline staff, etc.;
• Possesses the ability to navigate and build strong relationships in a large, complex multi- enterprise environment that includes customers with difficult and/or competing needs;
• Proven history of being a conceptual thinker with excellent communication, facilitation, leadership, and consulting skills;
• Previous experience developing test strategies, plans and coordinating testing activities; and
• Previous experience working on projects within security and privacy/personal health information (PHI) programs.
What you will be doing:
The Senior Business Analyst will be responsible for supporting a wide variety of projects across the organization. They will possess exceptional written and verbal communication skills and thrive in a dynamic, fast-paced, and technology-driven environment. Proven experience in effective communication, leadership, problem solving, documentation standards, change management, and quality control is required. The Senior Business Analyst will be assigned to different initiatives as organizational needs arise and may report to various project or program managers, directors, or other leaders depending on the specific project or area of work. This flexible role requires the ability to adapt quickly, build strong working relationships, and deliver results across multiple teams and business areas.
• Elicit, analyze, document, and validate business requirements for projects across various areas of the organization;
• Prepare clear, accurate, and audience-appropriate documentation, presentations, and decision items, including for senior leadership;
• Collaborate with stakeholders, project managers, and technical teams to ensure requirements are fully understood and implemented;
• Facilitate meetings, workshops, and support discussions with multi-disciplinary stakeholders, documenting and communicating outcomes;
• Develop test strategies and plans, and coordinate testing activities including user acceptance testing;
• Develop process flows, user stories, use cases, metrics, and key performance indicators to support organizational objectives;
• Write, proofread, and edit a variety of technical and end-user documentation;
• Support testing, quality assurance and go-live activities;
• Assist in the evaluation and selection of technology solutions to meet business needs;
• Support change management efforts by communicating project impacts and benefits;
• Monitor project progress, identify risks, and contribute to mitigation strategies; and
• Adapt to shifting priorities and work effectively with multiple teams across the organization to achieve successful outcomes.
