The Opportunity

We're looking for an experienced and strategic Senior Sales Representative / Business Development Manager to drive growth for our Custom Digital Learning business. This person will serve as a trusted advisor and digital learning expert—helping BTS client teams and senior executives shape impactful learning strategies and solutions.

This is a high-visibility role, reporting directly to the Managing Director, Sales & Marketing, CDL, and playing a key part in expanding our digital footprint across BTS's global client base.

This role is based in Toronto and we have a hybrid work environment with an expectation of at least 1-2 days a week in our Toronto office.

What You'll Do at BTS

  • Strategic Growth Partner: Act as the CDL subject-matter expert in large BTS opportunities, collaborating with consulting teams to craft digital strategies and solutions that enhance the overall client offer.
  • Business Development: Identify, qualify, and pursue new digital learning opportunities with both existing and new BTS clients.
  • Consultative Selling: Engage senior client stakeholders to diagnose learning needs, translate strategic objectives into digital learning approaches, and position CDL as the preferred partner.
  • Solution Partnership: Work closely with CDL solution designers, project managers, and consultants to shape compelling proposals and secure new business.
  • Pipeline Leadership: Build, manage, and report on a strong opportunity pipeline that aligns with revenue goals.
  • Market Insight: Stay ahead of industry trends in learning technology, content strategy, and digital innovation to guide both client conversations and internal capability building.
  • Collaboration: Partner with BTS practice areas and offices to strengthen digital integration across global offerings.

What We're Looking For

  • 5–8+ years of experience in consultative B2B sales or business development, ideally in digital learning, professional services, or SaaS.
  • Proven success in navigating complex enterprise sales cycles and influencing senior decision-makers.
  • Strong understanding of corporate learning, capability development, or digital transformation.
  • Exceptional communication and storytelling skills, with the ability to connect strategic impact to digital learning solutions.
  • Highly collaborative, able to operate across teams, regions, and disciplines.
  • Entrepreneurial mindset with a passion for innovation and driving growth.
  • Fluency in AI Tools
  • Experience in territory planning & mapping
  • Eligibility to work in the US permanently without sponsorship is required

Salary Information

Annual Salary Range: $90,000 - $110,000 CAD, commensurate with experience. This role is also eligible for commission.
