Join our Castlegar, BC team in this dynamic apprenticeship and step into a role with stability, strong pay, and a clear path forward.

Pay: Depending on experience, our Apprentice HVAC Service Tech earns $19.00 - $45.00/hour.

Schedule: In this apprenticeship, you'll typically work Monday - Friday, 7:30 am - 4:30 pm.

YOUR DAY COULD INCLUDE:

• Working alongside experienced technicians to accurately diagnose, troubleshoot, maintain, repair, and install heating and air conditioning systems
• Running service calls with your team and closely following all directions
• Performing routine maintenance, setting up wiring and ductwork for installations, and evaluating parts like filters, belts, and coils
• Installing new heating equipment and air conditioning units
• Learning how to diagnose problems, repair equipment, and ensure optimal functioning

APPRENTICE HVAC SERVICE TECH CRITERIA:

Minimum Requirements:

• Some relevant experience
• Ability to learn quickly and closely follow instructions
• Interest in pursuing a formal heating and air conditioning apprenticeship
• Valid driver's license
• Legal authorization to work in Canada

Preferred Qualifications:

• 2 years of experience
• Excellent customer service skills
• Ability to work independently and with a team
• Have completed a Foundation program or Introductory technical training for the Refrigeration and Air Conditioning Mechanic apprenticeship at a College or University
