Morning shift:8.00AM-4.30Pm
SKILLS & QUALIFICATIONS:
The successful candidate will possess the following qualifications:
A university degree or college diploma in design, electrical engineering, architecture, computer drafting, urban planning, geography or civil engineering
2+ years' experience as an AutoCAD Operator/Design Technician in electrical detailing
â Certification in engineering design and drafting technology considered an asset
Proficient in drafting methods, standards and practices
Electrical utility knowledge considered an asset
Proficient in Microsoft Office, AutoCAD 2013, Micro Station V8XM
DUTIES/RESPONSIBILITIES:
Operate computer-assisted design (CAD) and drafting workstations
Set up CAD system standards, symbol libraries and customize screen menus
Create electrical detail drawings from sketches
Develop and prepare engineering drawings from design sketches
Run batch plot program to plot multiple drawings
