Full Stack Developer

Actalent is seeking a full stack developer for a 6 month fully remote contract with an industry leading healthcare company!

Responsibilities

• Provide technical leadership to the team, including conducting code reviews and reporting roadblocks.
• Analyze situations, work independently or collaboratively to troubleshoot and solve problems.
• Ensure proper follow-up for post-incident analysis and implement necessary process improvements.
• Contribute to projects with a mix of front-end and back-end code, depending on the specific project needs.
• Work towards departmental goals and objectives, such as improving technical project estimates, enhancing test coverage, and maintaining overall code quality.

Requirements:

• Experience working autonomously as a full-stack developer.
• Proficiency in PHP, React, and TypeScript.
• Relational database experience with Oracle, PostgreSQL, or MariaDB.
• Strong testing experience, including unit tests and automated tests.
• Comfortable working with legacy code (PHP), Python, and PostgreSQL.

Assets:

• Experience with Redux, Webpack, Laravel, and Zend/Laminas.
• End-to-end testing experience, including PHP Units and PyTest.
• Strong communication skills.
