Key Responsibilities:
- Set up and operate punch press machines.
- Load and align sheet metal materials.
- Edit or input machine programs as needed.
- Inspect parts to ensure they meet specifications.
- Perform routine maintenance and tooling checks.
- Follow all safety protocols and wear proper PPE.
- Communicate issues with tooling or equipment to supervisors promptly.
What We're Looking For:
- 1–2 years of experience operating punch press or similar metal fabrication machinery.
- High school diploma.
- Forklift license (preferred).
- Experience with punch presses or other CNC machinery is an asset.
- Ability to read blueprints and use measuring tools (calipers, micrometers, gauges).
- Strong attention to detail and safety awareness.
- Good teamwork and communication skills.
Physical Requirements:
- Ability to lift up to 20 lbs regularly.
- Standing, bending, and repetitive motion throughout the shift.
- Work in a shop environment with noise, dust, and fumes.
Employment Details:Afternoon Shift: Monday to Thursday, 4:15pm to 2:15am (40 hours per week).
