Salesforce Business Analyst(Remote)

The client is looking for a consultant WITH EXCEPTIONAL COMMUNICATION to serve as a core Business Systems Analyst within an Agile Scrum engineering team, focused on the strategic migration initiative from Salesforce Service Cloud to Salesforce Public Sector Cloud. The ideal candidate will lead analysis, systems design, data alignment, solution validation, and cross-functional coordination across multiple delivery teams throughout the full SDLC.
Key Responsibilities:

• Develop the end-to-end migration approach for transitioning Service Cloud functionality into Public Sector Cloud, ensuring architectural alignment, seamless interoperability with existing systems, and adherence to government compliance/security requirements.
• Must have documentation / hands on technical skills in migration / administration skills in Salesforce (part migration technical skillset / part documentation / part Salesforce functional skillset)
• Execute detailed field mapping between legacy custom objects and Public Sector Cloud out-of-box data structures, optimizing workflows, business logic, and user experience to strengthen collaboration between internal teams, partners, and constituents.
• Lead data synchronization strategy between source and target platforms to improve operational efficiency, enhance data integrity, reduce rework, and increase real-time visibility across business units.
• Author and execute complex test case suites (positive and negative) to validate requirements, integration assumptions, user scenarios, and expected system behavior, ensuring quality prior to production deployment.
• Facilitate design proof-of-concept sessions, solution walkthroughs, architecture validation discussions, and demo reviews with stakeholders, grounding decisions in Salesforce best practices and scalable enterprise patterns.
• Maintain and continuously evolve a comprehensive enterprise data dictionary that serves as the single source of truth for migration transformation rules, definitions, and alignment across teams.
• Partner with Product, QA, Engineering, and business stakeholders to review Salesforce Team Testing results, drive defect triage priorities, and confirm deployment readiness.
• Design Salesforce data models, produce future state and current state process flows, and create executive-level presentation materials that simplify complex architectural concepts for clear business understanding and approvals.
• Document configuration rationales, development processes, standards, and implementation patterns in Confluence to establish long-term traceability and maintainability for program governance.
