- Perform maintenance and repairs in adherence to safety standards and regulations.
- Participate in safety and maintenance meetings.
- Engage in professional and service-oriented interactions with colleagues.
- Complete electronic work orders and maintain a clean workspace.
- Diagnose issues and communicate required parts effectively.
- Conduct preventative maintenance and annual motor vehicle inspections.
- Stay up to date with work-related training and development opportunities.
- Apprentice certification as a truck and/or trailer mechanic 3rd or 4th year or 2 years experience.
- Experience as a B620 inspector (an asset but not required).
- Strong mechanical knowledge and diagnostic skills.
- Proficiency with computers.
- High level of professionalism and teamwork.
- Additional experience with tankers, trucks, dry vans, reefers, or welding is an asset.
