Informatica MDM Consultant

Are you an Informatica IDMC expert with hands-on experience in MDM, Customer 360, and multi-domain data mastering? Do you have a strong background in building Proof of Concepts and aligning platform capabilities with business needs? Are you ready to lead a strategic initiative that will shape enterprise data governance?

Our client is conducting a high-impact PoC to evaluate Informatica IDMC (MDM, RDM, CDQ, CAI) for client and reference data mastering. This initiative will assess match/merge accuracy, governance workflows, and integration capabilities across domains. Our client has asked us to find an Informatica MDM Consultant or Developer for a permanent position to lead this PoC effort.

Here is what you will do on a day-to-day basis:

Platform Capability Mapping

• Align business requirements with IDMC capabilities including MDM, RDM, CDQ, CAI
• Build and configure Customer 360 and Multi-Domain MDM components
• Design and implement match & merge rules, survivorship logic, and match tuning strategies
• Evaluate out-of-the-box features vs. customization needs through stakeholder workshops

PoC Development & Execution

• Develop and execute PoC scenarios for identity resolution, governance workflows, and data mastering
• Configure profiling and data quality rules in CDQ to assess duplicates, anomalies, and patterns
• Integrate IDMC components using IICS, CDI, and CAI for end-to-end orchestration
• Benchmark resolution accuracy and governance adoption using defined KPIs

Governance & Reporting

• Validate stewardship workflows and measure time-to-resolution for governance tasks
• Document platform gaps, enhancement opportunities, and success metrics
• Present findings and dashboards to stakeholders for PoC evaluation

Here is the type of person we are looking for:

• Strong hands-on experience with Informatica IDMC, MDM, Customer 360, and Multi-Domain MDM
• Deep understanding of match & merge logic, survivorship, and match tuning
• Experience with RDM, CDQ, and data profiling techniques
• Skilled in IICS and integration using CDI and CAI
• Ability to lead PoC development and translate business needs into platform configurations
• Strong communication skills for stakeholder engagement and workshop facilitation
• Experience in public sector or regulated environments is a plus
• Familiarity with testing concepts is helpful
• This role requires Federal Reliability Clearance. Having resided in Canada for the past 5 years is required to qualify for clearance.
• The ability to work eastern standard time hours is preferred.

Salary range: $90–125k
