Title: QA Process Analyst (Consultant)
Type: Contract (through March 31, 2026 — non-renewable maternity leave coverage)
Schedule: Full-time, 9 AM–5 PM EST, hybrid (2 days per week in office)
Overtime: Not required
Hourly Rate: up to $63.30 T4
This role focuses on quality assurance management and process optimization within financial operations. The QA Process Analyst is responsible for maintaining testing standards, tracking currency and compliance, documenting requirements, identifying risks, and supporting business-as-usual (BAU) functions. The position requires deep experience in testing, quality frameworks, and financial portfolio management, alongside strong analytical and communication skills.
RESPONSIBILITIESQuality Assurance & Testing
Develop and execute test strategies, automation suites, and framework standards.
Design, execute, and maintain testing plans to ensure systems and software are stable, functional, and well integrated.
Conduct test case verification, report defects, and communicate quality metrics to stakeholders.
Ensure testing aligns with SDLC processes and internal quality standards.
Support continuous improvement by identifying opportunities to enhance automation, process efficiency, and customer experience.
Analysis & Process Optimization
Conduct independent analysis to resolve strategic and operational issues.
Break down complex problems, analyze data, and provide actionable insights and recommendations.
Recommend process enhancements to streamline QA and operational workflows.
Manage documentation accuracy, consistency, and compliance with security and audit requirements.
Project Delivery & Stakeholder Management
Oversee multiple testing projects simultaneously, ensuring scheduling alignment and delivery.
Collaborate with project managers, finance teams, and other stakeholders on testing estimations, portfolio management, and financial reconciliations.
Communicate clearly with cross-functional teams to report performance metrics, risks, and test results.
Actively participate in enterprise-wide initiatives, contributing QA insights and process expertise.
Leadership & Continuous Improvement
Mentor peers and share technical expertise to elevate QA standards across teams.
Stay current on industry trends, methodologies, and automation practices.
Lead efforts to embed fact-based, data-driven quality practices within the organization.
Experience
10+ years in IT, quality assurance, or business analysis environments.
Proven experience managing finances and projects in clarity/PPM tools.
Hands-on knowledge of Customer Connect (or equivalent) application.
Strong understanding of SDLC processes, QA methodologies, and automation frameworks.
Experience with test management, reporting, and performance tracking.
Technical & Analytical Skills
Skilled in identifying, diagnosing, and resolving quality or delivery issues.
Proficient in data analysis and using metrics to guide QA improvement initiatives.
Able to develop automation strategies and define testing standards.

Education
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Systems, Mathematics, Business, or related discipline (other degrees may be considered with equivalent experience).
Prior experience within the financial or banking industry.
Previous experience within the same institution or similar corporate QA environment.
