Full Time Scooper Patrol Guard - Toronto Pearson Airport

Schedule: Continental Afternoons (1400 – 0200)
Pay Rate: $20.41/hour

Averaging Agreement: Overtime after 88 hours

Paladin Security is looking for dedicated and observant individuals to join our team at Toronto Pearson International Airport. As a Scooper Patrol Guard, you will play a vital role in maintaining the safety and integrity of ground transportation operations by monitoring terminals and preventing unauthorized solicitation activities.

• Patrol inside and inner curb of the airport terminals to identify individuals soliciting unapproved transportation services.
• Enforce airport regulations regarding scooper activity through observation and communication techniques.
• Avoid direct confrontation—focus on reporting and de-escalation procedures.
• Provide information to passengers regarding GTAA-authorized taxi and limo stands.
• Educate travelers on “Choose the Right Ride” ground transportation awareness.
• Issue Parking Infraction Notices (PINs) in accordance with established procedures.
• Report suspicious behavior and safety concerns to the Security Operations Control Centre (SOCC).
• Maintain accurate records of daily interdictions, interceptions, and incidents.
• Respond promptly to emergencies and coordinate with relevant authorities.
• Represent Paladin Security, GTAA, and clients with professionalism and courtesy.

Requirements

• Valid Ontario Security License
• Valid First Aid & CPR – Level C (from a WSIB-approved vendor)
• English fluency (oral and written)
• Previous experience in security, law enforcement, or a related field preferred
• Must be able to provide certifications in Use of Force (UOF) and Management of Aggressive Behavior (MOAB)
• Applicants lacking UOF/MOAB certification may opt into Paladin's training program prior to onboarding
• Please note: The UOF/MOAB certification is not paid, as it is a pre-requisite, but Paladin will cover all training costs with a 6-month commitment to the role
