Join a stable, growing 3PL as a IT Administrator In this role you will assist in handling and maintaining the IT systems, networks, and user support to ensure smooth operations. This entry-level role involves troubleshooting, system monitoring, and learning advanced IT administration tasks while supporting the IT team. Note: a valid license and reliable personal vehicle is required for travel between locations $25 to $28/hour Pay every Friday! To be successful in this role you will bring: Associate's or Bachelor's Degree in information Technology, Computer Science or related field or equivalent experience Experience: 2 to 4 years of Tier 1 and Tier 2 IT experience, internships or certifications may substitute Familiarity with Windows environments Basic knowledge of networking (TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP) o Experience with Active Directory, Microsoft 365, or similar tools. o Understanding of virtualization (e.g. VMware, Hyper-V) is a plus Certifications (preferred but not required (CompTIA A+, Network+, Security+, and certified Microsoft Azure Administrator Associate or Cisco CCNA. Soft Skills: Strong problem-solving, communication, and teamwork skills; ability to learn quickly and adapt to new technologies. What will you be doing: System Maintenance: Assist in installing, configuring, and updating hardware, software, and operating systems. Network Support: Monitor network performance, troubleshoot connectivity issues, and assist with network configuration (e.g. routers, switches). User Support: Provide Tier 1 and 2 help desk support, resolving issues like password resets, software access, and hardware malfunctions. Security: Implement basic security measures, such as updating antivirus software, applying patches, and monitoring for threats. Backups: Assist in performing and verifying data backups and disaster recovery procedures. Documentation: Maintain accurate records of IT assets, configuration, and support tickets. Hardware Management: Set up workstations, peripherals, and mobile devices, diagnose and repair basic hardware issues. Software Support: Install and troubleshoot applications ensuring compatibility with existing systems. Collaboration: Follow IT policies and procedures including data privacy and cybersecurity standards. This position is not limited to the above and can be modified and expanded as required.
