On behalf of our public sector client we are hiring a Procurement Specialist.. This role will support end-to-end procurement activities and RFX development for complex initiatives. The successful candidate will have strong public sector procurement experience, attention to detail, and the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and refine business and technical requirements for RFX documents
- Draft and prepare RFX packages and supporting materials
- Assist with vendor questions and interpret solicitation requirements
- Review proposals for compliance and completeness
- Support evaluation processes, scoring, and documentation
- Assist with bidder conferences, vendor presentations, and debriefs
- Help finalize contracts and maintain accurate procurement records
Qualifications
- Post-secondary education in procurement, business, supply chain, or related field
- 4+ years public-sector procurement experience
- 4+ years experience preparing and managing RFX processes
- 2+ years experience with Adobe Acrobat Pro
- Strong MS Office skills (Outlook, Word, Excel)
- Experience with SAP/Ariba and e-bidding systems (asset)
- Canadian experience is required
- Monday to Friday, 8:15 AM - 4:30 PM
- On-site position
