What you'll do:

Our warehouse supervisor will be tasked with running our shipping department at our Emerald Park warehouse. Leading a team of warehouse workers you will be tasked with ensuring that inventory is being received, transferred and stored in an effective, safe, accurate and efficient way. This will be accomplished by developing, training and managing the warehouse team. You will be expected to develop a systematic structure that ensures inventory is where it needs to be when it needs to be there. This role consists of:

• Training, scheduling, guiding and directing shipping personnel to keep the flow of the warehouse at a high level
• Understanding the business and making informed decisions to help create efficiency and accuracy
• Inspect and record any damages or discrepancies
• Organize and stock inventory in designated areas
• Pick and pack orders for shipment
• Create shipping labels and documentation
• Coordinate with carriers for timely delivery

Requirements

What you bring:

• 2-3 years of warehouse experience
• 1-3 years of leadership experience
• Strong attention to detail
• Intermediate to advanced computer skills
• Problem solving skills and the ability to come up with creative solutions
• A background in logistics would be considered an asset
