We're seeking an experienced and motivated General Construction Site Superintendent to join our team in Surrey, BC.

This role is ideal for a hands-on leader who thrives in managing large-scale commercial construction projects from start to finish--ensuring safety, quality, and schedule excellence.

Our projects range up to $15 million and include commercial, light industrial, and institutional work -- from tenant improvements and structural upgrades to remediations and renovations.

What You'll Do

• Manage all site operations safely, efficiently, on schedule, and within budget.
• Coordinate on-site construction plans including scheduling, logistics, and supervision of site staff and subcontractors.
• Supervise, mentor, and support site personnel to foster a strong, collaborative team culture.
• Ensure full compliance with company values and BC Building Code standards.
• Maintain excellent communication with project managers, clients, trades, consultants, and inspectors.
• Monitor construction progress and proactively address challenges to keep projects on track.
• Promote and enforce high standards of safety, quality, and workmanship.
• Develop and maintain strong relationships with stakeholders across all project phases.

What We're Looking For

• 6+ years of experience as a Site Superintendent in commercial construction.
• Proven success managing full-cycle projects with a General Contractor.
• Strong leadership skills and the ability to motivate and mentor teams.
• Hands-on Carpentry background preferred.
• Solid understanding of BC Building Codes, construction techniques, and site procedures.
• Proficient in Procore, Microsoft Office, and Outlook.
• Excellent problem-solving, decision-making, and communication skills.
• Reliable pick-up truck and valid BC driver's license.
• Adaptable, organized, and able to manage multiple priorities effectively.
• Must pass a Criminal Record Check prior to employment.
