Business Systems Analyst Co-op

BRANCH: Innisfil, Ontario

WORK ENVIRONMENT: This is an in-office opportunity

EMPLOYMENT TYPE:

  • Winter Term (Contract)
  • Monday-Friday

POSITION RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Assist in the design and deliver of business intelligence solutions and dashboards, using Power BI and Smartsheet as key tools.
  • Assist in defining data strategies that align with business priorities and contribute in identifying performance drivers and KPIs
  • Translate data into compelling narratives and visuals to inform leadership
  • Assist in efforts to enhance data integrity, accessibility, and governance across the business units
  • Assist in integrating new data sources and maintain reporting reliability
  • Investigate root causes of data and process issues, identifying short-term fixes and long-term solutions
  • Facilitate change requests and documentation of enhancements
  • Maintain an organized log of requests and resolutions to ensure transparency and accountability

POSITION REQUIREMENTS/QUALIFICATIONS:
Education/ Certification:

  • Currently enrolled in an undergraduate degree in Finance, Accounting, Analytics, Data, Business/Commerce, Communications or related field

Experience:

  • Familiarity with Microsoft 365 (Outlook, Teams, Excel, PowerPoint)
  • Experience working with dashboard tools (e.g., Power BI, Smartsheet)

  • Strong interpersonal skills, fostering positive working relationships and effective team coordination
  • Demonstrated ability to analyze data, identify trends, and deliver actionable insights that support business objectives
