We offer clients advanced in-house engineering & design with 3D modeling, piloting, fabrication and machining, in-house control panel shop, and a full range of field services, allowing us to provide turn-key solutions. We are seeking a qualified electrical apprentice to fill a permanent full-time position. The successful candidate must be a team player and have technical experience in industrial electrical and control wiring. The candidate must also have a great attention to detail and the ability to identify and solve potential problems.

Duties and responsibilities:
- Electrical installation and control panel assemblies
- Read and interpret schematic drawings
- Strong understanding of the Canadian Electrical Code
- Layout of equipment while ensuring manufacturers installation instructions and all code requirements are adhered to.
- Drilling holes and mounting equipment as per the general arrangement drawings
- Install conduit and cable
- Wire terminations of electrical equipment
- Confirm wiring of components as they are completed.
- Review bill of materials for accuracy and flag any errors immediately
- Redline drawings as required during assembly
- Review finished assembly for accuracy.
- Occasional Site work and associated travel
- Input weekly timesheets accurately and in a timely manner.
- Adhere to safety protocols and maintain a high standard of conduct in the shop.
- Maintaining a clean and safe working environment.
- Other assigned duties as required
Qualifications:
- Education:
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Accredited trade school or equivalent
- Experience:
- 3+ Years of relevant electrical experience or equivalent
- 3+ Years as a junior electrician or equivalent
