The Role
Thisis primarily aremotepositionin Victoria,BC(or closely surrounding areas).Although youwon't
be in the office, you willbe required
toprovideonsite supporttoour customersacrossVancouverIslandon anas-neededbasis.When you are notonsite, you will beremotelyassisting
our clientsacrossBC.

You'llbe providing ITsupport fora variety oftechnical issues across our wide customer base - with a focus on Microsoft's application stack, and variousline ofbusiness applications. This will include a mix ofdesktop,server,andnetworkingsupport.

We are a cloud-first shop, andyou'llbe working with a variety of cloud based and virtualization technologies.

Previousexperience withan MSP wouldbe a strong asset,alongside experience using MSP tools such asRMM& PSA, AV& MDR,backupsolutions, etc.

Our team typically works Monday toFriday,and thisrole wouldbe9:005:30, althoughthat may be negotiable.Overtime and travel may berequiredwhen visiting clientsduring the week.This position is also expected to be a member of our on-call rotation.

Customer service is the number one priority.The successful candidate will be expected toanswer incoming calls and place multiple calls to clients when responding to tickets throughout the day.Impeccable record keeping, attention to detail and documentationare thekeysto success.

Requirements:

• A minimum of3-5 years of ITsupport experience in an MSP (or similar support role)
• BCIT diploma or degreeinComputing & Information Technology(TSP, NAT), or equivalent level ofindustrycertifications &workexperience
• Exceptionaldesktopsupport andtroubleshooting skills - Windows OS
• Exceptionalcustomerservice andcommunicationskills (written andverbal)
• Experience working with Microsoft 365Admin Centres (Exchange,Security, Azure)
• Microsoft 365,Sophosand other vendor certificationsare required tobe completed in the first year after employment.Detailed certification requirements will be reviewed after employment.
• Soundexperience usingActive Directory, Azure AD Connect, and Group Policy
• Understanding of basicnetworkingandremoteaccessconcepts(WAN/LAN,DHCP, DNS,VPN,etc)
• Experience working withnetworkswitches,firewalls,wirelessaccesspointsand configuringVLANs
• Windows Servertroubleshooting experience
• Understanding ofbackup anddisasterrecovery,andvirtualizationtechnologies
• Clean driving record and validClass 5BC license

Technical Skills - Nice to Have:

• Experience with hosted phone systems (ie. RingCentral)
• Thoroughfirewall/networksecurity knowledge
• StrongVirtualization experience
• MicrosoftCertifications(ie. MCSA, Microsoft 365 Administrator, Microsoft Azure Administrator,etc)
• NetworkingCertifications(ie.CCNA, CompTIA Network+,etc)
