Key Responsibilities
- Manage front desk and reception duties, ensuring a welcoming and professional environment.
- Perform general bookkeeping tasks using in-house accounting software.
- Oversee accounts payable and receivable functions and assist with payroll processing.
- Prepare and issue invoices in a timely and accurate manner.
- Schedule projects, track job progress, and monitor related costs.
- Create and maintain Excel spreadsheets to support month-end and year-end financial reporting.
- Provide prompt and courteous responses to customer inquiries and resolve issues as they arise.
Qualifications and Experience
- Post-secondary education in Accounting, Business Administration, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
- Minimum of three years of hands-on experience in a combined administrative and bookkeeping role.
- Strong communication, organization, and interpersonal skills.
- Working knowledge of residential or commercial construction practices is considered an asset.
- Proficient in Microsoft Excel and general accounting software.
- Demonstrated professionalism, accuracy, and attention to detail.
- Team-oriented attitude with a willingness to assist wherever needed to support company success.
